But I first REALLY got into drag, at like 17, when I saw the first episode of season 4 of drag race. I didn’t realize something as amazing as this existed. I mean, I always knew drag queens were present and my first crush was Courtney Act, but it wasn’t until I saw that there was even more kinds of drag than just the queens in Sydney, that I really payed attention.
I’ve always love hyper femininity. My favorite fictional characters have and always were very hyper feminine women. Jessica Rabbit, Debbie Jellinsky, Miss Scarlet, Madeline Ashton, Velma Kelly, Effie Trinket. So I guess as I got older I sort of understood the motivations behind drag and my love for it.
